Administration of the Sacraments
BAPTISM. Baptismal Preparation is by appointment. First time parents will have a seminar with the Pastor. Subsequent children need only to fill application form and coordinate the date with the Pastor (no additional seminar necessary). Please make sure to include the Priest in your family celebrations after.
FIRST COMMUNION/RECONCILIATION/CONFIRMATION. The process of preparation for First Communion/Reconciliation can begin as early at the age of 7. Confirmation can begin as early as grade 6. Please contact the Pastor for details about the year long process each requires, which can happen individually or as a group, depending on family readiness. A growing practise of the faith, including building the habit of Sunday Mass attendance, is an essential part of the preparations for all the Sacraments.
EUCHARIST. Eucharist is celebrated daily. Mass intentions may be offered by contacting the parish office.
RECONCILIATION. Celebrated by those who have already received their first Reconciliation and Communion. Confessions are available 15 minutes before every public Mass or by appointment.
MARRIAGE. Please make an appointment with the pastor, at least six months before the HOPED FOR marriage date. No date can be set until the initial meeting with the Pastor and the prenuptial questionnaire are completed. The process of preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church is a multi-month process to help prepare the couple have a life long and happy marriage. ANOINTING OF THE SICK. Parish care for the sick and home bound, please phone the parish office for a pastoral visit. Communal services with Anointing of the Sick are offered periodically. See bulletin for schedule.
